Becoming / Women’s Soul Circle

Follow your love for this world and the wild calling of your deepest self

Based on the soul maps and 60+ practices of the Wild Soul Immersion, this is an

immersive six month journey that includes 9 in-person soul circles in nature/indoors

Being witnessed and supported in a circle is a profound catalyst for transformation. This is a facilitated process, exploring nature-based, heart-centred and soul-infused practice, to support each person to navigate their edges and follow their own soul’s guidance. Through this loving and witnessing circle, we support the unique soulful becoming of each participant, so that each may step up, claim their soul gifts and find their co-creative act of service and love for this beautiful, yet aching world.

The Becoming / Soul Circle is for you if:

  • You want to strengthen your relationship with your soul-self & your deepest knowing

  • You are seeking direction, purpose, meaning - your deepest ‘why’ for being here

  • You want inner tools and practices you can use for a lifetime to walk the soulful path of purpose

  • You want connection, support and community with other like minded pilgrims on the soul path

  • You want support to contribute your gifts to this turmoiled and wondrous world

The doors to the world of the wild Self

are few but precious.

If you have a deep scar, that is a door, if you have an

old, old story, that is a door.

If you love the sky and the water so much you

almost cannot bear it, that is a door.

If you yearn for a deeper life, a full life, a sane life, that is a door.

Clarissa Pinkola Estes

The Becoming / Soul Circle offers:

  • A six month, transformative, guided, experiential journey that is

sensitively attuned to what is emergent for each individual.

  • 9 guided soul circle sessions held Sunday afternoons in person, afternoon tea provided.

  • 60+ evocative soul tending practices for home that you have lifetime access to. You focus on the practices most relevant to your life - this is not a one size fits all approach. Practices include guided meditation recordings, nature practices, soul art, stream of consciousness writing, songs, dream exploration, movement & embodiment practice, journalling & self inquiry, ritual, ceremony and many other soul-based practices.

  • With more than 20 years experience of facilitating circles and with a background in community development, I am passionate about tending our circle container, to foster deep connections, friendships and community.

When we follow the golden spiral of soul, it leads us not only into the depths of our own soul-self, but also into the world, into profound love for this precious green and blue planet. Then the individual soul serves the world soul and co-creative love and regeneration of self and world is possible.

So many of us long to contribute to the world in a way that feels authentic, meaningful, loving and fulfilling. We might feel there is more for us to do with this precious life, but are not sure what, or even how to find out what. We may long for a sense of belonging and purpose - and we may struggle with this alone.

What is the soul?

“By soul I mean the vital, mysterious, and wild core of our individual selves, an essence unique to each person..our unique and deepest personal characteristics, the core and enduring qualities that define our personhood..Soul is what is most wild and natural within us.” - Bill Plotkin

The soul is the innermost essence of you and has core powers, core values, core abilities, core knowledge, and a core identity that is archetypal, what Bill Plotkin calls a mythopoetic identity. When we uncover this core self with these innate and nature ways of being we come home to who we truly are. We are then profoundly empowered and inspired to share our gifts with the world.

Of course, the hardest self to see is our own deepest self. The soul needs a mirror. The soul can be mirrored through: our dreams; ritual and ceremony; our deepest emotions; listening to our lives; nature communion; art making; through image and symbol; stream of consciousness writing; embodiment and movement practice; mentoring; through witnessing from others in circle; and through many other soul-based practices.

Our soul helps us to rediscover and reclaim the deep story that is our own, reveals how our story connects with the world’s story and shows us how to participate, contribute and love this precious, turmoiled world.

If you want to learn more about my approach you can read many of my blog pieces that explore different soul practices - a good introduction is The Golden Thread of Soul. I also highly recommend reading Soulcraft by Bill Plotkin.

You are planted in your own integrity

and there you stand,

gnarled and knotted,

perfectly at ease with yourself,

your roots deep in truth,

your branches held up to let the light in.

- Stephen Mitchell
